CHILDREN’S EDUCATIONAL CENTER CAMPANELLA POLICIES

ENROLLMENT, REGISTRATION, AND TUITION

  1. Enrollment

    • Enrollment in the Campanella Children’s Educational Center is by semester.

    • Concert and Harmony choir groups require a full season (2 semesters) commitment.

    • Special considerations for new students joining at other times.

  2. Registration

    • For both new and returning students, registration is required at Campanella website. No payment is necessary at the time of enrollment, an invoice will be emailed within 7 business days of enrollment.

    • A non-refundable annual registration fee of $35 will be added to your invoice.

    • Family Registration and Emergency Contact Information form must be completed and e-signed by parent/guardian within 7 days of enrollment.

    • Campanella Code of Conduct must be read and acknowledged by both parents/guardians and students. Printed and signed acknowledgement must be returned to the Center Director.

  3. Tuition

    • Tuition for non-choral programs, Beginners, and Prelude Choir is by semester, payable in full.

    • Tuition for Harmony and Concert Choir is by academic year, which could be made as a single payment in the beginning of the year or in two installment payments at the beginning of each semester.

    • Zelle or credit card payments are preferred; check payments are accepted. Cash payments are not accepted.

    • No refunds for missed classes.

    • Prorated tuition refunds issued for documented health problems or relocation (case-by-case).

OTHER FEES

  1. Campanella home concerts are ticketed events.

    • All attendees must purchase tickets.

    • Choristers, unless otherwise specified, are required to purchase tickets for participation in Campanella home concerts, covering venue rental, guest musicians, and post-concert entertainment and refreshments.

  2. Additional fees will be charged for choir tours, uniforms, and special events.

  3. A late charge of $25 will be added if payment is not made by the due date. Additional fee of $25 will be added for each subsequent month the payment is not made.

  4. A charge of $25 will be applied to all returned checks.

ATTENDANCE, SCHEDULE, AND MAKE-UP CLASSES

  1. Regular class attendance expected. 

  2. Additional rehearsals will be announced before events, full attendance is required.

  3. Notify your instructor 24 hours in advance for missed classes.

  4. Concert schedule is partially available at the beginning of the academic year, and will be announced once finalized, as soon as possible. 

  5. Notify the Choir Director of any conflicts with scheduled concerts at the beginning of the academic year.

  6. Make-up sessions arranged with the instructor or during make-up week.

 

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS AND SCHOLARSHIPS

  1. Payment plans for qualified students on a case-by-case basis may be considered. Contact accounting@campanellacenter.org to request a special payment application.

  2. A limited number of partial tuition scholarships is sponsored by a variety of charitable sources. Contact accounting@campanellacenter.org to request a scholarship application.

CREDITS AND DISCOUNTS

 

  1. Campanella offers siblings discount: 10% discount for all classes on tuition for additional siblings, applied to the lesser tuition amount among the siblings.

  2. In some cases credit towards future classes might be issued. Contact accounting@campanellacenter.org for details.

COMMUNICATIONS

  1. Email and WhatsApp messages are our primary mode of communication. Please be sure to list the current email addresses for both parents and students on the registration form and promptly notify us of any changes.

  2. Reply to communications from Campanella in a timely manner. 

  3. Don’t hesitate to contact or ask questions.

GUIDANCE AND DISCIPLINE

 

  1. Physical punishment, ridicule, threat of harm, and the use of harsh, demeaning, or abusive language with or in the presence of children at Campanella are strictly prohibited. This policy applies to all individuals associated with Campanella, including employees, volunteers, parents, and visitors.

  2. We are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all participants.

  3. Refer to Campanella Code of Conduct for complete details.

USE OF FACILITIES

 

  1. Students and accompanying individuals must treat Campanella's facilities with respect.

  2. Skates, skateboards, pets, etc., are not allowed inside the building.

  3. The educational center is a non-smoking facility, and tobacco product use is strictly prohibited around the church building, including the front area, doorways, walkway, and parking lot. Violations will result in penalties.

  4. Respect for Place of Worship: Campanella rents the facility from St. Giles Episcopal Church, which is respected as a place of worship. The house adjacent to the church is a private residence and should not be disturbed.

  5. Memorial Garden Etiquette: The stone garden across from the main entrance is the Church’s memorial garden (cemetery), and plants and stones should not be disturbed.

  6. Parking Regulations: Cars must be parked only in designated spots, avoiding blocking the driveway. Unattended vehicles should be in designated parking spots on church premises.

PUBLICITY CONSENT

  1. Media Usage: Photographs, audio, and video recordings of students participating in Campanella activities may be utilized in various media outlets, such as publications, newspapers, magazines, radio, and online platforms.

  2. Consent Agreement: by registering to Campanella classes and filling the Family Registration form the student and their parent(s) or legal guardians grant irrevocable consent and permission for the use of the student's name, image, and audio in advertising, publicity, marketing, or demo materials.

NOTICE OF NON-DISCRIMINATORY POLICY

The Campanella Children’s Choir and Educational Center does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, age, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, disability, marital status, parental status, or any other legally protected status, in any of its policies, programs, and practices, including its admission policies, scholarship and loan programs, hiring and retention of faculty and staff, as well as career services.

WAIVER AND RELEASE OF ALL CLAIMS

 

  1. Supervision Responsibility: Parents/guardians/caretakers are responsible for supervising children before and after class sessions. This applies especially when a child attends multiple sessions on the same day.

  2. Acknowledgment of Risks: By registering their minor child(ren)/ward(s) for Campanella Children’s Educational Center programs, parents/guardians/caretakers acknowledge waiving and releasing all claims for injuries that may occur during these activities.

  3. Assumption of Risk: Parents/guardians/caretakers recognize and acknowledge the inherent risks of physical injury in Campanella programs and agree to assume full responsibility for any resulting injuries, damages, or loss, irrespective of severity.

AGREEMENT TO THE ABOVE POLICIES

Registering for any type of lesson or class at Campanella are indicating that the registrant has read and agreed to the terms as stated above on behalf of their minor child(ren)/ward(s) and/or themselves.
