Join us for a unique 2-day winter workshop centered on the theme of Healing Harmony: Restoring Broken Glass. Through the ancient art of stained glass, participants will explore how broken fragments can come together to create something beautiful and whole.
Participants will create beautiful stained glass projects that can make awesome holiday gifts!
Led by a renowned stained glass artist Rita Shimelfarb, children will discover the healing and transformative power of art as they turn glass shards into vibrant, meaningful creations. This camp combines creative art projects with music and community, providing a fun and supportive environment for self-expression and healing.
Participants will be divided into two age groups for the stained glass workshops, cookie decorating, improv games and other activities , and the art activities will be tailored for the ages. The stained glass masterpieces will make great New Year’s…
Schedule
4 hoursIntroduction to stained glass by Rita Shimelfarb, presentation of stained glass techniques.
4 hoursHands-on creation of glass mosaics or painting glass using special glass paints.
