PROGRAM OVERVIEW AND SCHEDULE
Class description:
In Prelude group children learn to appreciate music, sing in tune (matching pitch), and develop articulation, focusing on the major vowels and consonants. They are guided on proper breathing while singing and play with simple percussion instruments to develop a sense of rhythm and rhythmic coordination through fun and dynamic age-appropriate activities.
Singers of the Harmony group work on establishing healthy singing and breathing habits, singing with good intonation, and learning to read musical notation. Students learn to sing in unison and in two parts, enhance articulation, focusing on the major vowels and consonants, learn to manage their breathing when singing, and control the evenness of sound.
Duration: 11 weeks, March 5 - May 25, 2024
No School: March 25 to March 31
We meet on Tuesdays:
Prelude group 5:00 - 5:45 PM
Harmony group: 6:00 - 6:45 PM
Registration fee: $25
Tuition: Prelude group $235, Harmony group $245
Concert attire and t-shirts, travel, concert participation, year end trophies and certificates are not covered by tuition and may require an additional fee.
REGISTRATION
Register your child to Campanella Prelude or Harmony Choir program at the NSUMC. No payment is needed at the time of registration, you will receive an invoice from Campanella accounting within a week from registration.
If registering more than one student, please fill a new form for each student you register.
