CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Children learn to appreciate music, sing in tune (matching pitch), and develop articulation, focusing on the major vowels and consonants.
They are guided on proper breathing while singing and play with simple percussion instruments to develop a sense of rhythm and rhythmic coordination through fun and dynamic age-appropriate activities.
Duration: January 15, 2024 - June 8, 2024
No School: March 25 to March 31; May 27
Schedule: Tuesdays, 5:30-5:55 PM
Location: St. Giles Church, 3025 Walters Avenue, Northbrook, IL 60062
Registration fee: $35
Tuition: Spring semester $240
Concert attire and t-shirts, travel, concert participation, year end trophies and certificates are not covered by tuition and may require an additional fee.
