HARMONY CHOIR PROGRAM SCHEDULE, OVERVIEW, AND REGISTRATION
Ages 8-10
Instructor: Marianna Kosaya
CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Choristers explore the joy of musical expression and the self-esteem that grows from skillful choral singing. Singers work on establishing healthy singing and breathing habits, singing with good intonation, and learning to read musical notation. Students learn to sing in unison and in two parts, enhance articulation, focusing on the major vowels and consonants, learn to manage their breathing when singing, and control the evenness of sound.
Students learn musical notation, rhythm, scales, key signatures, intervals, chords, introductory melodic and rhythm dictation, along with ear-training and sight-singing skills.
DURATION:
Once a week, 17 weeks + 1 makeup week per semester.
SCHEDULE:
Twice a week option: Thursdays 6:15 - 7:15 PM AND
Saturdays 2:00 - 3:00 PM.
Once a week option: Thursdays 6:15 - 7:15 PM OR Saturdays 2:00 - 3:00 pm.
REGISTRATION FEE:
$35 per family per your registration cycle (one semester or full season).
TUITION:
Per season: $990 twice a week, $880 once a week.
Per semester: $495 twice a week, $440 once a week.
DISCOUNTS:
10% sibling discount applied if registering more than one student to Campanella programs.
AUDITION:
Age divisions are approximate.
Students are grouped based on their level and readiness. A simple 15-minute online meet and greet helps us get to know each other and choose the right program. No preparation is needed.

Concert attire, t-shirts, travel, concert participation, year end trophies and certificates are not covered by tuition and may require an additional fee.
One semester is 18 rehearsal weeks long, plus 2 to 6 mandatory dress rehearsals on Sundays before the concerts. Minimum two performances per year on the stage home venue and other locations.
