Campanella's Concert & Stained Glass Exhibit
On January 18th, Campanella Children's Choir presented a magical evening of music and art at our winter concert titled Heavenly and Mundane. From ethereal harmonies that lifted hearts skyward to playful songs rooted in daily life, the program showcased the range and depth of our talented young singers. The children’s voices, carefully guided by Artistic Director Marianna Kosaya, brought warmth and beauty to a cold winter night.
Adding another dimension to the evening was a stunning exhibit of stained glass artwork by renowned glass artist Rita Shimelfarb, displayed in the concert lobby. The exhibit, curated as part of our ongoing community arts initiative, featured vibrant panels inspired by the heavenly and the mundane. Each piece echoed the interplay between the divine and the earthly, light and shadow, fragility and strength—mirroring the musical journey unfolding onstage.
The exhibit also served as a preview of our upcoming collaboration with Rita Shimelfarb, whose vision and craftsmanship have deeply resonated with our families. The effect was breathtaking—illuminated by soft light, the stained glass created a sacred atmosphere that perfectly complemented the music.
We are grateful to everyone who joined us for this unique winter celebration of voice and color. The concert and exhibit were more than performances—they were an invitation to see and hear the extraordinary in the everyday.
